Yes, it is easy to find a comfort zone and remain in it.
Things are working; life is travelling smoothly; you can relax, enjoy, coast. And then… IT happens.
You are brought to sharp attention by a short, brutal shock!
What you said was misinterpreted. Undervalued. Misunderstood. Overlooked.
And, across the board, it made things worse!
What can you do to avoid falling into the trap of your voice’s comfort zone?
Since the inception of this voice coaching practice I have asserted this: Never take your voice for granted!
Know how you want your voice to speak your message.
Know how you want it to land in your listeners’ ears.
Be sure your voice is fulfilling its role in alignment with your purpose.
Be certain that it communicates your message and the desired outcomes of your spoken word event.
Most of all, make sure that all this is in place each time that you speak!
If you are unsure that you have your voice in the best spot possible, each time you speak, get in touch. You can also submit a voice snapshot for review. You’ll find the snapshot link to the right of this post.
